Good News! --A direct voice for
psychology in the International Science Council
ICSU - the
International Science Council - is a non-governmental organization founded in 1931 to
bring together natural scientists in international scientific endeavour. It comprises 26
international, single-discipline Scientific Unions (of which IUPsyS is one) and 98
multi-disciplinary National Scientific Members, Associates and Observers (scientific
research councils or science academies). Its goal is to provide a wide spectrum of
scientific expertise to address major international, interdisciplinary issues.

- The next meeting of the IUPsyS
Executive Committee will be in July, 2003. Please
communicate issues that you would like to see discussed at that meeting to
Secretary-General Pierre
Ritchie or to any EC member.
- The ARTS (Advanced Research Training
Seminars) coordinators are searching for instructors for the ARTS to be held in Beijing,
China in August, 2004. Please
see the 2004 ARTS announcement -- or contact the coordinators Ingrid Lunt or John Adair
